Toy Poodle
The Toy Poodle is the smallest FCI-recognised variety of the Poodle, standing up to 28 cm tall and weighing 1.8–3 kg. Excellent for apartment living: small size, moderate exercise needs, and minimal shedding make the Toy Poodle an ideal urban companion. Daily walks and mental stimulation (training, puzzle toys) are important to keep the dog happy and well-behaved indoors.
Soins
Requires professional grooming every 6–8 weeks and daily brushing to prevent matting. Regular ear cleaning and dental care are essential. Needs moderate daily exercise—walks and play sessions. Thrives on close human companionship and may develop separation anxiety if left alone frequently.

Voyages
The Toy Poodle travels well due to its compact size and typically qualifies for in-cabin travel on most airlines (always verify current carrier rules). Bring familiar toys and treats to reduce stress. Avoid feeding a large meal before travel. For long journeys, plan short breaks outside the carrier when possible.
