Turkey
Entering Turkey requires rabies vaccination and a microchip; a titer test is not requested for entry into Turkey. Leaving Turkey for the EU, check the EU's own requirements (Turkey counts as "unlisted" for entry into the EU).
Vaccinations
Rabies vaccination at least 21 days and no more than 12 months before entry.
Rabies titer test
Not required for entry into Turkey. Required for a subsequent entry into the EU from Turkey — the EU's own timing applies (blood drawn ≥30 days after vaccination, EU entry 3 months after the draw).
Documents
A veterinary health certificate (Pet Passport / Health Certificate) issued by an accredited veterinarian no more than 10 days before travel, plus the microchip data.
Entry notes
Istanbul and other major Turkish airports are common connecting hubs on CIS ↔ Europe/Balkans routes; check the airline's transit rules separately from entry rules.
