Aeroflot
The main carrier from Russia; carries dogs and cats both in the cabin and as checked baggage on domestic and international routes, subject to the current network restrictions.
In-cabin carriage
A pet with a soft or hard carrier, combined weight up to 8 kg, in the cabin; the carrier must fit under the seat. Over the limit — an extra fee or the pet moves to checked baggage.
Hold carriage
Pets over the cabin limit travel as paid baggage in a ventilated container; in extreme temperatures at the departure/arrival point, the airline may restrict carriage.
Breed restrictions
Breed restrictions on brachycephalic animals apply to hold carriage, as with most carriers.
Fees
The pet fee is paid separately from the ticket under Aeroflot's extra-baggage/pet tariff, and depends on the route.
Booking
Carrying a pet must be declared when booking or at least 36 hours before departure — the number of in-cabin pet slots is limited.
