Raw fish can carry parasites and bacteria, river fish especially. Feeding raw fish regularly destroys vitamin B1.
Symptoms
Vomiting, diarrhea; with B1 deficiency — weakness, unsteadiness, seizures.
What to do
Feed only cooked fish; see a veterinarian if symptoms appear.
