Even a fragment of a tablet can kill a cat (destroys hemoglobin); in dogs it is liver-toxic. NEVER give human painkillers to pets.
Symptoms
Brown gums, labored breathing, face and paw swelling (cats), vomiting, jaundice.
What to do
Go to a veterinarian immediately.
