Lemon and lime acids and essential oils irritate the gut of dogs and cats; psoralens in the peel are phototoxic. Pets usually avoid them anyway.
Symptoms
Drooling, vomiting, diarrhea.
What to do
See a veterinarian after peel or a large amount.
