Grapes (like raisins) can cause acute kidney failure in dogs and cats; the toxic mechanism is not fully understood and no safe dose has been identified. ASPCA and Pet Poison Helpline consider them extremely dangerous.
Symptoms
vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, decreased or absent urination
What to do
Contact a veterinarian immediately — do not wait for symptoms to develop.
