Garlic is even more potent than onion: it destroys red blood cells and causes anemia in dogs and cats. "Healthy" garlic doses against parasites are a myth.
Symptoms
Lethargy, pale gums, rapid breathing and pulse, dark urine, vomiting, diarrhea.
What to do
Contact a veterinarian — especially for concentrated forms (powder, supplements).
