Many essential oils (tea tree, citrus, eucalyptus, mint) are toxic to cats even via skin or diffuser air; dogs suffer from concentrates.
Symptoms
Drooling, wobbliness, lethargy, tremors, low temperature; oil smell on fur.
What to do
Wash the oil off with mild soap and contact a veterinarian; keep cats away from diffusers.
