Garden currants (Ribes) are low-toxicity, but IMPORTANT: "currants" in baking (Zante currants) are dried grapes and are life-threatening.
Symptoms
After baking currants: vomiting, lethargy, appetite loss.
What to do
If baking currants (dried grapes) were eaten — see a veterinarian immediately.
