Caffeine overstimulates the heart and nervous system of dogs and cats. Coffee beans, grounds and energy drinks are the most dangerous.
Symptoms
Restlessness, tremors, rapid heart rate, vomiting, seizures.
What to do
Contact a veterinarian; urgently if beans or grounds were eaten.
