Lagotto Romagnolo
The Lagotto Romagnolo is an ancient Italian breed originally developed for waterfowl retrieval in the Romagna region, later becoming the only dog breed officially recognized for truffle hunting. It is a small-to-medium, square-built dog with a distinctive dense, curly, water-resistant coat that gives it a teddy-bear appearance. Intelligent, affectionate, and highly trainable, it makes an excellent family companion while retaining its strong working instincts.
