Long-Haired Dachshund
The Long-Haired Dachshund is a German scent hound with a distinctive elongated body, short legs, and a luxurious silky coat inherited from Spaniel crossings. It is a lively, courageous, and devoted companion with high intelligence, though it can be stubborn and independent at times. The breed adapts well to apartment living but requires consistent grooming and special care to protect its long spine from injury.
